The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation will be having a Special Presentation tonight at Federal Way’s City Council Meeting to discuss the historical significance of the Weyerhaeuser Campus, which they have recently named to their 2017 list of ‘Most Endangered Places’.
From Saveweyerhaeusercampus.org:
Come to the June 6 City Council meeting to show your support for the listing of the Campus as one of the 2017 Most Endangered Places in the state!
A representative from the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation will give a short presentation and show the Most Endangered video. (The presentation is second on the agenda.)
This is an accomplishment that couldn’t have been achieved without the support of YOU, the community that prizes the campus and is fighting to retain its unique character. So come on out and show the council by your presence that a lot of their constituents still care about the warehouses being proposed on the campus, and support the city’s partnership in trying to preserve at least the 50+ acres along the west shore of North Lake.
