The nation’s largest contiguous collection of Eichler homes is nestled in the hills of San Mateo. On May 6-7th, 2017 the San Mateo Highlands Eichler Home Tour will offer a rare opportunity to get a personal look into ten fabulous homes.

In addition to touring the homes, guests will enjoy exploring the Modern Marketplace hosted at the Highlands Rec Center, which will include wonderful gifts and accessories for the Mid Century Modern fan in your life.

For the first time ever, we will be hosting an evening VIP Happy Hour event at one amazing Eichler (limited to 150 guests).

We look forward to meeting our tour guests who will travel near and far to spend the weekend with us.  Thank you to all our amazing sponsors for supporting our event and a special thank you to the countless volunteers for donating their time to make this event memorable for our guests.

About Eichler Homes

Between 1949 and 1966, Joseph Eichler’s company, Eichler Homes, built over 11,000 homes in nine communities in Northern California and homes in three communities in Southern California. Later, other firms worked with Eichler’s company to build similar houses. Together, they all came to be known as Eichlers. During this period, Eichler became one of the nation’s most influential builders of modern homes. The largest contiguous Eichler Homes development is “The Highlands” in San Mateo, built between 1956 and 1964. (Wikipedia)
