Another great modernist event celebrating Mid-Century Modern architecture in the Pacific Northwest is right around the corner, and this one will not disappoint!

-Learn local history on a guided downtown walking tour
-Tour three exemplary modern residencesMeet us at 10:00 AM to check-in at the Cope Gillette Theatre (originally the Bank of Everett, a New Formalist style bank building built in 1963), 2730 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. Enjoy refreshments.
At 10:30 am, Docomomo WEWA Board member and architect Susan Boyle will provide an overview of Everett’s modern architectural history. From 10:45 am to NOON, Historic Everett Board member Jack O’Donnell will lead us on a downtown walking tour. Refreshments will be served during the introduction.
Then, from NOON to 2:00 pm, tour three modern residences open to view. You’ll need your own transportation for the house tour. Docents will be at each house. A map will be distributed at check-in.
Tour fee: $10 for members of Historic Everett or Docomomo WEWA; $15 non-members. Purchase tickets online through Brown Paper Tickets by clicking on the “Sign Up For This Event” button above. Or purchase at the door the day of the event (cash, check or credit/debit card). Limited space is available.
