The stars are shining brightly at the annual Palm Springs International Film Festival! This is the perfect opportunity to soak up some winter sunshine, hobnob with Hollywood celebrities, and partake in a celebration of film around the world. Ongoing through January 16th, there are more than enough movie screenings and parties to attend to indulge your inner film buff. Originally promoted by Sonny Bono since its beginning in 1989, this film festival has mainly been known as screening most foreign film Oscar nominees. Check out the festival’s schedule and plan your trip to one of our favorite events in Palm Springs.
Some good bets:
Talking Pictures: “The opportunity to engage directly with filmmakers and hear their insights and observations at first hand is one of those things that makes this Festival special. As we go to press we’re still confirming talent for our popular Talking Pictures program, conversations with A-list directors, actors and creative talents, moderated by a leading entertainment journalist, dedicated to exploring the stories behind the stories.”
